Performance, how heavy a try / catch? (. NET)
These days are entered into a discussion where we began to assess the "weight" of a try / catch block.
If a pure block try / catch, not used does not cost anything to use it incorrectly has an enormous weight.
To demonstrate this I used a code profiler and small. NET code that contained these two functions:

As you can see the function WithCatch (object data) uses the try to run a generic error condition, while the first block of code uses a simple if to avoid the error.

TryCatchTest.Program.TestWithCatch (int64, object): 491.77
Well ... up to 10,000 processing method, nearly% of the time was used by the second function.

You are right, the letter read on the day of the funeral by Raffaello Sanzio was wrong and inappropriate. In those moments was only silence and the ability to step aside, respect the others, and also their pain, tears and silence. It is enough. To explain, to tell the dynamic was no time.

I met Alfredo rates during one of my first public readings. Both were born in 1981, we were recently released by the college. Reading between me and the other Daniele De Angelis (our earliest beginnings, "The Crane" did not yet exist), and there I saw for the first time "Dalfrenzis" (with Alfredo Calvaresi were David and Francesco Cardarelli), which came from the school of mime Eugenio Ravo, which staged a tribute to Pier Paolo Pasolini titled "huge prayer."

Alfredo Rates died on February 5, 2009, in Dijon (France), where he was preparing for the "Societas Raffaello Sanzio Inferno sets for the show, in mysterious circumstances on which the French police are still investigating. After a course to play driver had done an internship at the sculpture studio and stage design "Plastikart" in Cesena, run by Zimmermann and Amoroso. In 2008 in particular was dedicated to the achievement of certain sets for the series of shows Inferno, Purgatory and Paradise of the company "Societas Raffaello Sanzio, in Cesena. The tour began in August 2008, Alfred had followed the company as a clerk in the machinery of the stage, until the date of Dijon, where his little girl was brutally interrupted race.

French police have denied speculation earlier claim that the death was caused by a sudden and severe injury to the liver and right kidney.

The death occurred at the Auditorium Theatre of Dijon shortly before the staging of the show Hell representation included in the tour of the French shows Hell, Heaven, Purgatory and known by the theater company Societas Raffaello Sanzio, in Cesena.
Amedeo, on behalf of family and friends, warmly thanked the company for the welcome they received and the fundamental support in the conduct of bureaucratic practices for the return of remains.
The funeral will be held Monday morning at 10.30 am at the Collegiate Church of Offida.
